Although I live in the city of parties and events, this was the first event I've ever been too! It was so exhilarating to stand on the long line outside of the store, as I sluggishly walked getting closer and closer to the front door. Once I got past the front door, they checked my name off and gave me a free $10 gift card! The whole shop was filled with gorgeous pieces of jewelry! Of course my sister and I went straight to the food.
There was a section for Godiva drinks, I thought it was just a chocolate, nonalcoholic drink however as I took a sip it tasted like alcohol. I must have looked old with all my make-up on because they didn't check my ID. Anyways, I disliked the drink so I just threw it away. However, it seemed as everyone else liked it! There was a long line for these Godiva drinks! The next section was a variety of fruits and tiny cupcakes from Crumbs! Right next to it was a lady giving out fruit juices. I thought the vending machine for Luna Bars was pretty cool! I actually saw one of these in California and loved picking up some free bars to take home. Now lets talk about the beauty section!
For the beauty section, there was Benefit cosmetics giving out makeovers and selling their products. If you came early like I did, they were giving out mini O.P.I nail polishes which I adore. There were also free sample size hair products from Rahua.
An exciting part of this event were all the giveaways they were having! They were hosting a instagram giveaway where you had to upload pictures of the party with #rankandstyle and the best are chosen for free beauty products and more! Hopefully I win because I went all out with a collage! They had a couple more but that was the main giveaway. Giveaways weren't all of it, they had a cute photoshoot area where a machine would take your picture! There was even a box with cute props like hats, signs, scarves, etc to spice up your photo. Just click start and it'll snap your picture, which then it printed out on the side of the machine and you'll be able to send it your email, fb, etc!
Now, for the center of the event.... THE JEWLRY! They had everything from rings to bracelets. However, we went scavenging through out the crowded, sweaty store for the perfect necklaces. The necklaces were priced around $20- $40 range. My sister and I picked up a couple that looked unique and plopped them in our bins. Then went to a mirror and started trying them on. It was a arduous decision but finally brought it down to two. They were both so glamorous, sooo.... we were tempted to purchase them both.
We left the event with a smile on our face and two bags in our hands filled with Luna bars, nail polish, pictures, and two necklaces.....
Sorry if the pictures aren't the BEST quality, I used my iphone!
