In a busy city like New York, sometimes it's just nice to stop and take in how gorgeous the city is.
I've been living in New York City practically my whole life and one place I love going to is Grand Central and the Pershing Square Café. After watching Gossip Girl and Friends with Benefits, I feel.... how do you say it.... cool.... yeah lets use the word cool. I feel cool because for me it's crazy how when I see shows and movies, and I've been to the location where they filmed it, I feel like wow.... Justin Timberlake, Mila Kunis, Blake Lively, and all those celebrities were here. Hopefully you guys understand what I'm trying to say, but yeah.
Well, I don't JUST like this place because of Gossip Girl and Friend with Benefits. I think Grand Central is so beautiful. The intricate detailing of the sculptures and the view of the Chrysler Building... especially at night time. It's simply gorgeous.
Step inside. Tons of people rustling around to their destination. It's always extremely crowded inside. Go up the stairs and look down at everyone. To me, just looking down at everyone makes me happy. They all have places to go and different agendas. Although, it's so hustle bustle busy, somewhere there it gives me peace, if that makes any sense.
Stand in the middle of Grand Central and look up. There's a mural of stars. A beautiful piece of art right in front of you.
Downstairs is a place where you can grab some food. From falafels to Magnolia cupcakes, they have everything.
It's a great place to go. I love Grand Central.
Now time to talk about The Pershing Square Café. The first time I went here, it straight away reminded me of Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. I seriously loved that movie, it made me cry. Well anyways, I love coming to this café for some tea and dessert. It's inexpensive and great to just sit and talk with your friends. I love how Grand Central is right in front of this café. I love sitting next to the window, where I can just look outside at everyone and okay. I kinda sound like a creeper. I look at people way too much. But, anyways yeah. I loving coming to The Pershing Square Café. LOVE IT.
Here are some pictures of the day I went to Grand Central and The Pershing Square Café!
If you ever do come to NYC, I seriously recommend you to go to these two places!
By the way, Happy New Years!
