3rd Annual Intern Queen Party In NYC!

I've been interested in interning for awhile now and when I found out about this spectacular event I couldn't say no. It's a great way to meet people and create connections from different industries searching for their fresh, new interns. The event was hosted by Lauren Berger, the intern queen herself, at the Ann Taylor Flagship store in the Upper East Side.

There was great music from the DJ and a cute photo booth!

There was even an area for make-overs sponsored by Elizabeth Arden!

Now let's get down to business and start talking about the food they served!

These are tiny sliders that you can just eat in just one bite!

These beautiful ladies are holding trays of bruschetta! Instead of slices of baguette, the pretzel crisps are used. On top are the usual suspects for a simple bruschetta, basil and tomato however for a tangy flavor goat cheese was incorporated.

Baked in the oven and sliced into cubes, these are mac n cheese bites!

They also had an assortment of beverages including alcoholic drinks.

Just like Baked By Melissa, they had miniature cupcakes!

They also had huge baskets everywhere overflowing with Pretzel Crisps.

An awesome panel including executives and coordinators from Johnson & Johnson, Harper Collins, US Weekly, Iconix, CBS, Sirius XM, Ann Taylor, Cosmopolitan, and Elizabeth Arden spoke about internships. They shared their experiences and advice on interning. It was really an honor to listen to them speak.

Great food and great company what else can you ask for, it was an incredible night!

BIRTHDAY OUTFITS!

Joanna is wearing a formal black blouse flared up with spike detailing on the collar and the shoulders paired with some casual black denim shorts. The jean shorts and her tan/light brown sandals make the overall outfit more casual.

Joyce is wearing a gray cropped tank with a pair of high waisted, statement floral pants. Since these pants are the focus of the look, she paired it with a plain tank and simple sandals.

I absolutely love her chic, floral printed pants!

I'm wearing a plain black t-shirt with a sheer maxi skirt. To create the illusion of a smaller waist I put on a skinny, brown belt. I also have on a gorgeous gold necklace from Baubles Bar and to top of the look I have on a neutral pair of wedges!

Ye Jin's outfit is cute and girly! In order for her shorts to pop out, her adorable lace peach shorts is paired with a clean white blouse. Her sandals match the color scheme of her overall outfit!

Hae Rin has on a green blouse with some circle studs on the pockets. She also has on high waisted, studded black shorts. The studs in both her top and bottoms give her a strong, chic vibe but the floral bracelet gives a more girly tone to her whole look.

Jasmine has on a super casual yet still pretty outfit on. She inputs the ongoing trend of chambray button ups in her style. Leaving the blouse open, she has on a basic black shirt under, tucked in some denim shorts.

Max Brenners?

A typical restaurant to go in the city is Max Brenners. This restaurant is known for their chocolate desserts! They have fondue, crepes, waffles, anything you can imagine even a chocolate pizza! It's a fantastic place to go with your kids, however their service is not the best. I went for my birthday recently with a reservation made beforehand, but they made us wait for about ten minutes. They were waiting for some customers to finish eating and quickly cleaned up their tables. As if the reservation was no point... they smushed up three uneven tables in the most uncomfortable place. Although we asked them to be reseated they said they didn't have anything available.

As weird as it is, we didn't order any desserts when we went. We were so famished from all the food we ate that we couldn't fit in any desserts. The food arrived earlier than expected which was a plus.

They had a tiny corner in the restaurant where they sold chocolates and collectible items such as t-shirts.

The Best B.A.L.T sandwich filled bacon, avocado, tomato, lettuce, and cilantro-avocado mayo. It's a triple decker sandwich and comes with pickles, a chipotle-mayo sauce, and waffle fries.

Asian chicken and soba noodles salad, maybe it's because this restaurant is all about carbs and indulgences but this salad was definitely not a salad. There were barely any greens or vegetables.

Max's Sunday Mood Pasta, I'm not sure how it tasted but it was A LOT for just one person. My friend had to pack it to go.

Really Cheesy Really Crunchy Mac N Cheese was actually not THAT cheesy. I expected the cheese to be stringy but it was way to creamy for that texture. However, it was good but I think it'll be too much for one person to fully eat. Sharing is the best at Max Brenners.

The Grilled chicken panini

Oven Roasted Tomato Pizza
My other friend ordered the Mushroom and Ricotta Pizza which I highly do not recommend! It was way to salty because of the olives!

The food here was decent with huge portions! No wonder it's pretty pricey! Sharing will be the best option at Max Brenners! I came here to eat desserts once and it was pretty good. I still have to try their famous fondue so I will be back despite their despicable service.
