Quick Christmas gift haul!

Hey guys! I hope you guys had a great Christmas! I wanted to show you guys two presents I've received from my cousin! They are both beauty items, so I thought it would be appropriate for this blog.

The first item is the Sephora Luxe anti-bacterial brush set! This was definitely on my wishlist. I was in desperate need for some more make-up brushes! They come in this travel make up brush bag. These are super soft and great!  I LOVE THEM!

Next item is the Give Me Some Lip Sampler from Sephora!

I heard so many good things about the Buxom lip products and I love them! They are super minty and not sticky at all!

Next is the Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Bare Pink. I love the color of this lip gloss. It's a nice light pink color.

The tarte glitzy LipSurgence is a prertty shimmery color! This is a lip crayon so it's retractable,

I'm pretty sure I heard of this lip crayon, Rhubarb, by Bite on youtube. I love this color because it's a light colors than my Calvin Klein Speak Easy lip stick!

The Nars Turkish Delight lipgloss is also a great product!

I've tired the Sugar Products beforehand and it's amazing. They made my lips so soft and I love the tint of pink.

I absolutely love all of these lip products and give them all a thumbs up!

Hey guys! Sorry this is up so sosoososos late, but here it is!

1) Earphones are really nice for gifts! They are unisex so great for boys or girls! I mean... who doesn't like listening to music???
2)Wallets! If you want to splurge, buy them a leather wallet! It's a great present, used every single day.
3)Watches are also a nice gift. Ofcourse, this is another item to splurge on!
4)Phone cases! Pretty much everyone has a phone. Phone cases are perfect and yet again, a great unisex gift.
5) Games. Boy will always be boys. Most guys love playing games like playstation and xbox. Purchase a new game they might want to play like 2K14!
6)FOOD is always a great choice. Maybe take them out for some food or buy them a gift card to their favorite restaurant!
6)Backpacks! I recommend purchasing cute backpacks like from the company Hershel. I know Urban Outfitters has a great selection, so go check their website out!

Christmas Gift Guide Series: For Her

So here is the 3rd part of the Gift Guide Series!
These are some items that I would personally want and I think they are all fantastic for maybe your best friend, girl friend, sister, etc!

1) Clothes- jackets, cute christmas sweater, sweaters, cardigans, skirts, and all of that!
However, if you don't know her style I don't think this a great present to get her! Make sure you know what she likes! For examples, I love cozy knit cardigans, circle skirts, cropped sweaters, etc!
2) SHOES-boots, heels, flats, sneakers
Definitely shoes that are trendy! Personally, I would love a pair of knee high boots or ankle booties. I think shoes are a great gift!
3) Tea
I LOVE tea, but I do have friends that dislike it. So..... make sure she likes tea. Unless she's a coffee person, then COFFEE is a great idea as well...something festive like pumpkin spice coffee or peppermint coffee!
4) Candles
I LOVE CANDLES, especially the ones from bath&body works! I've been loving flannel, mahogany teakwood, leaves, and marshmallow fireside form bbw!
5) MAKEUP!
I feel like the safe way for purchasing make up products is to get one of those holiday sets from Sephora! Another great item is the Naked 3 palette or Lorac Pro Palette.
6) Jewelry
Every girl loves jewelry. On my wishlist, I have products from Bauble Bar! Check their website out because they have AMAZING items!

If you haven't already check out my Christmas wishlist video on youtube!

Thanks for reading!:)

Christmas Gift Guide Series: For Your Dad

Gift Guide for Dads!

Again, if you guys didn't check out my 1st post on the gift guide for moms, definitely check that out!

I said this in my previous post, but decided to repost it here because this would work both for moms and dads!

Inexpensive easy gifts
You may not have enough money or whatever the situation is, you want to provide a gift for your dad without splurging.
*D.I.Y gifts are super easy and they provide a more sentimental feel. You can definitely check youtube or online anywhere for some d.i.y ideas!
1) I recommend a handwritten card. Simply pour out your heart on a card and tell her that you love her. Parents always want to be told that their kids love them. If you don't say that often, I recommend telling them this Christmas. It will bring joy to their faces. If you really can't afford a card, just make one yourself! It's super easy and I always do it!
2) Another gift is a scrapbook with pictures. It's really thoughtful and nice when you compile up memorable pictures in a book. They can look through them and reminisce. As you heard many people say "pictures are worth a thousand words".

Gifts
Here are some ideas you can use if you have some extra cash!

1) Wallets
I think wallets are always nice to get for your dad! Something leather and sleek. This is something that will cost a bit more money, but I think it's worth it because it'll be used every single day!
I recommend Louis Vuitton's wallets . It's obviously a bit pricey, but they can even engrave initials on the wallet! Of course Louis Vuitton is a SPLUGE item, so you can definitely go for something more inexpensive like the Bosca Wallet.
2) Watches
Again, this is a great choice because your dad would use this every day!
3) Ties
4) Casual wear
Maybe if your dad is a bit sporty an adidas tracksuit would be perfect.
Even a cozy sweater or a jacket, just any clothing item.
5) Gold Clubs
If your dad likes sports like golf, I think golf clubs or any item related with that sport would be a great gift!

Christmas Gift Guide Series: For Your Mom

This will be the first blog post of my new series for Christmas!
Hopefully these upcoming posts will help you decided what to purchase for Holiday gifts!

Mothers.

Inexpensive easy gifts
You may not have enough money or whatever the situation is, you want to provide a gift for your mom without splurging.
*D.I.Y gifts are super easy and they provide a more sentimental feel. You can definitely check youtube or online anywhere for some d.i.y ideas!

2) Another gift is a scrapbook with pictures. It's really thoughtful and nice when you compile up memorable pictures in a book. They can look through them and reminisce. As you heard many people say "pictures are worth a thousand words".

Gifts
Now, for those who have money to spend here are some ideas!
It all depends on what your mother likes.

1) Fragrance
Maybe there's a scent that your mom really likes. Especially in the holidays, there are special gift sets that are a lot cheaper!
Some classic perfume scents for your mom are Dior J'adore or Chanel No5
or candles! I'm obsessed with candles. Definitely buy some Bath & Body Works Candles or Yankee Candles!

2) Jewelry
Does your mother like gold, silver, rose gold, etc?
Try to figure that out and purchase some jewelry; a necklace, ring, bracelet, or earings.
If you really don't know what they like, maybe leave a Tiffany & Co's booklet on the table or something and she will probably look through it. Or look through her jewelry and check what kind of style she likes!

3) Make-Up
If your mom wears makeup, definitely buy her some goodies.
During the holidays, there are always special sets in Sephora that you can buy!
I bought my mom the Naked 2 Palette last year and she LOVES it. She uses it every single day!
Some great eyeshadow palettes are all the Urban Decay Naked Palettes(Naked Palette 3 recently came out), Lorac Pro Palette, Lorac Pro To Go Palette, & the Too Faced Eyeshadow Palettes.
For lipsticks definitely try out Nars, Mac, or YSL lipsticks. These are pretty pricey though, especially the YSL lipsticks. However, YSL lipsticks have the prettiest packaging and a great creamy formula.

super quick haul! (late)

Hey ya'll!
This is super late. I was expecting to upload this last week, but I guess here it is now.
The first item is this soft beanie from Calvin Klein!
My head is naturally not shaped for beanies or hats, so when I found this one I was pretty satisfied.
I mean.....I don't think it looks AMAZING on me, but it looks somewhat normal on my head.
It's just a simple black knit beanie! I think it's a great staple to have in your closet, especially one those bad hair days!

The next item is this pair of heels. I showed you guys these heels in my previous collective haul video on youtube, so if you haven't watched it yet MAKE SURE TO CHECK IT OUT!:)
It's a snake skinned black pair of pumps. The platform makes it a bit easier to walk in, however I'm still practicing! I've been wanting a pair of black heels forever.... and now I have two! It's definitely a must have for a shoe collection. Black matches everything! Well, alright this blog post was pretty quick so see ya guys on sunday! Thanks for reading!:)

First Thanksgiving Dinner

This was our first ever Thanksgiving Dinner in our family. Feelings of both joy and happiness were in the air. I was super excited and anxious for this busy busy day. I knew there would be a ton of preparation to be done. It was our first time cooking a turkey and baking a pie. First time for everything. I had no idea what to expect!

It was a very very very tiring day. Cooking all day is very difficult. I don't know how chefs do it. I love cooking, but man....

We went to Trader Joe's to purchase our brined 12 lb turkey the saturday before Thanksgiving. I put it in the freezer until the day before. I left it in the fridge to defrost! However, by Thanksgiving day it didn't melt all the way. It was practically still frozen. I think this was the biggest issue we had. We looked up how to defrost our turkey and man oh man. We did our best! It wasn't done till after we all had our first plates of food. However, that was okay! I think it was still super delicious. Well....
besides the turkey fiasco, I think we had a pretty successful first Thanksgiving dinner! Although we had a small kitchen and a small dining area, I am so thankful that we even had the space to create this scrumptious dinner.
I'm excited to cook our next Thanksgiving meal and hopefully we will start a tradition.

Here are some pictures of our journey in creating our Thanksgiving dinner!

The next two pictures are pretty random, but hey gotta show you guys my eye make-up for the day. Nothing too fancy, but hey here ya go:) It was very very subtle. I didn't want to do anything crazy for my small, cozy thanksgiving dinner with my family.

Omg. Looking through these pictures I remember how delicious everything was.
