I live in the city of adventure and dreams, where anything is possible. The city that never sleeps...

As a freshmen in Hunter College, I'm learning new things about myself and what I aspire to be. Do I become a nurse and follow what my mom wants me to do? Should I try event planning? What about becoming a chef? So many questions and important decisions to be made and I wasn't sure what to do. People would ask me what I was interested in, what I was good at, and what made me happy but I honestly didn't know until I thought about what I actually spent majority of my time doing.

I know this may sound silly to some people but every single day, I always make sure I watched my youtube videos online. It was and still is, like a necessity in my life. I would stay on my bed watching videos for hours about beauty, clothes, etc. You may ask, so youtube videos.. everyone watches youtube, what does that have to do with your future? Well I wondered the same thing. As I thought about the questions people asked me, I deciphered that youtube was the answer I've been searching for...

I absolutely have a passion for what beauty gurus talk about in their videos! Then my Seventeen Magazine subscription arrived at my house and like every month, I started reading it and going through every little detail. I realized that this magazine had everything I wanted to do! From beauty to fashion to food, everything...
Seventeen magazine is like several youtube videos smashed together! I realized right then, that I aspired to be apart of the magazine industry, writing and editing about all the things I have a passion for. 

And now here we are on my blog, beginning my journey to become an editor. Although I have no experience whatsoever, this is the start.

I was lost and bewildered at what my future held, but now I'm confident in what I desire and who I want to be. Follow my journey in reaching my dream.
